A very sweet mid 20th century charm, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose subject is a miniature pair of keys, with heart shaped tops. These little keys hang separately on their jump ring, and jangle pleasantly with movement. There’s the classic “keys to my heart” reading available here, but because there are two keys present, and only one person holds them, we also have a little room for alternative symbolic interpretations—a non-traditional relationship, a mother with exactly two children, a heart with an especially fortified lock, etc! These keys are beautifully and precisely made. Their ends are open, as if they were functioning keys . . . and perhaps they are! Marked 14k for purity.
